2023 Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard Chardonnay

Precision and elegance are the best words to describe this outstanding Chardonnay. Situated on a rocky knoll, this block of old Wente Chardonnay shines. Yellow pear and pear skin mix with subtle lemon and lime notes. Hints of fresh herbs add an interesting counterpoint to the nose. Flavors of yellow apple and pear are discernible on the palate, but this wine is about concentration and verve. Terrific acidity carries the flavors all the way to the back of the palate where the wine finishes with crushed minerals.
