The aromatic profile suggests a potpourri of dried flowers, lemon peel, orange peel, musk melon, yellow apple and the list goes on. Owing to the interplanted Chardonnay clones harvested simultaneously, the complexity and layers in this wine are built in the unique characters of clones. Oily and rich on the entry, the coolness of this section of the Estate allows for a methodical ripening of the tannins to offer a smooth texture while providing enough acid balance to give the wine its lithe and airy complexion.
