Harvested in late October from our Estate Mistral Vineyard in southern Santa Clara County, the color is deep and almost an inky red/purple. The aromas display dark fruits, chocolate covered nuts, plums, molasses and coffee. A good balance on the palate with soft tannins, spice, fresh Mission figs, acidity and underlying ripe dark fruits, compliments the long sweet berry finish. This port was fortified from special “port style” spirits, made exclusively for Williams Selyem, by the Alambic stills of Hubert Germain-Robin of Alambic, Inc. in Ukiah, California.
