1993 Allen Vineyard Chardonnay

Clear, pale yellow color; pear, vanilla custard, citrus, roasted macadamia nuts with spice and smoke in the nose; complex flavors of apple, pear and butterscotch; very rich but with enough acidity to keep it in balance; great length to the finish. Bottled unfined and unfiltered. Aged in 50% new, 50% used French oak. Alcohol 14.5%
