The Ferrington Vineyard is a classic site, producing wines that are lithe and focused. Located in the southernmost section of the Anderson Valley, it experiences dramatic diurnal temperature shifts with warm days and extremely cold nights. The nature of these conditions preserves the typical red fruit character of the wine while maintaining the acidity. Aromas and flavors of cranberry, red cherry, and currant mix with hints of tangerine and bergamot. The medium bodied tannins carry through and conclude with a satisfying, earthy finish.
