A truly distinctive wine with a signature earthy, meaty quality that you can pick out instantly. It’s spicy, savory and smoky in aromas, then a bit restrained in dried cherries, sun-dried tomato and salt-and-pepper flavors. Medium- to full-bodied and moderately tannic. Drink now or hold. – J.G.
