2021 Beckstoffer Missouri Hopper Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

Nearly opaque in color, the Missouri Hopper Vineyard wine is a showstopper. Lively and vibrant, the wine exhibits a floral tone along with red fruits and currants. Cedar and citrus add freshness to this wine while hints of fennel seed add complexity and layers. In the mouth, the wine is equally stunning. The freshness shines through with terrific acidity that carries the flavors of red and black fruit to a lengthy finish. The tannins are robust, but the extract of this site seems to cloak the tannin profile to offer balance and harmony, even at this young age. The wine finishes gracefully with hints of aged tobacco.
