2016 Burt Williams’ Morning Dew Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir

The Morning Dew Ranch Vineyard Pinot Noir is an intriguing wine. Fresh herbs and notes of plum and black cherry mix with aromas of hoisin sauce and tamari. A hint of flint on the nose adds spice and interest to the spectrum of aromas which carries through to the palate. In the mouth, the wine leads with cherry flavors and is lifted by notes of citrus peel and flowers. The refined tannins are supported by flavors of cocoa, allspice, and Asian tea. This will be the last vintage of the Morning Dew Ranch Pinot Noir by Williams Selyem, as Burt Williams sold the vineyard in 2015.
