Very concentrated flavors of raspberry, cassis, mocha and root beer burst in your mouth. The aromas are similar, but with a high-toned, perfumed edge to them. This old vine block is predominantly Zinfandel with only a scattering of “field blenders”. Big, rich mouth-coating tannins give way to a long, jammy finish. This wine should age nicely for 4-6 years.
