This bottling was done to commemorate the 30th harvest at Williams Selyem with equal parts from each block on our Estate Vineyard. Only one barrel was crafted. Fresh ripe cherries, frambrois, roses, black truffle and a mineral aroma fill your glass. Concentrated blackberry/raspberry flavors glide across your palate, accentuated only by the richly textured tannins and subtle flavors of star anise, boysenberry compote, cherry-cola, nutmeg and caramel. The finish is powerful and the true purity of this site is greatly expressed throughout this wine. I hope you have the patience to wait 6-7 years to truly see the full unique expression of this site.
