The perfumed nose of optimally ripened black cherries, dried morels, earth and violets begins the experience of our newest blend from vineyards across the Russian River from us. Low yields in 2008 led to a more concentrated, brooding tannin profile that is enlivened by its juicy acidity. This may require a bit more patience to resolve with ageing. Rich dark berry fruits, game and minerality coat your palate with hints of caramel and dark chocolate. Blended from relatively younger vineyard sites that show the most potential of greatness since planting our Estate on Westside Road.
