The nose is redolent of ripe cherries, wild berry jam, violets, spice, crème brûlée and honey-cured bacon. Your mouth fills with Bing cherries, raspberries, root beer, fennel, spice and toasted vanilla beans. The ripe, concentrated tannins are rich and plump across the palate. The bright acidity and berry finish is long and lingering. Will age as well as the 1995 Russian River blend. 14.2% alcohol
