2001 Mendocino Pinot Noir

The floral nose of wild cherries, rose petal and black truffle oil accentuates the medium-red to ruby color. The lively acidity and expansive tannins balance the concentrated flavors of cherries, pomegranates, cinnamon, cola, mineral, spice and forest floor. A wonderful growing season in that part of Mendocino County helped produce this terroir-driven wine. 13.5% alcohol
