Perfumed with summer red and black fruits, the aromas are captivating and alluring. Situated on a hilly site on Eastside Road, the Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard has a beautiful sunny exposition and extremely well drained soil to create a wine with concentration and finesse. Hints of citrus and purple flowers perfectly compliment the fruit notes. Flavors of black and red fruits transition into a tea-like flavor and sensation. Well-focused, the fresh acidity carries the wine to a long and satisfying finish. MacGregor is an enigma that showcases density while maintaining a terrific airiness.

Reviews
95 / Wine Spectator
Ripe and punchy, with a solidly built core of pomegranate, cherry and mulberry fruit flavors that bring excellent energy. The finish pulls in potpourri, bramble, rose hip and red tea notes, with a mouthwatering zip of licorice. Drink now through 2034. – J.M.
97 / James Suckling
An especially pointed and poised wine from this pinot noir specialist. It shows concentrated, generous red cherries, raspberries and cloves on the palate, driven by freshness, acidity and a linear feel. Made from a vineyard owned by the winery and planted with the Pommard and Swan clones. Drinkable now, but best from 2029. – J.G.
