A beautiful nose of black raspberry and dried strawberry are immediately apparent. The inherent dried meat and grilled herb qualities, including clove and allspice, take a secondary role in this wonderful offering from Bucher Vineyard. The front of the palate is saturated with raspberry and cherry, which provide a roundness on the tongue. Hints of saddle leather emerge on the mid-palate, with a wonderful surprising lift of citrus at the conclusion.
