A cornucopia of aromas jump from the glass at first nosing. Notes of mountain blueberry, violets, and black raspberry saturate the senses. Layered underneath the fruit elements are hints of cedar shavings, minerals, and nutmeg. Bright and energetic in the mouth, the wine has a depth and concentration that is unparalleled. Flavors of Earl Grey tea permeate the entire palate and finish with a citrus pith quality.
2017 Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard Pinot Noir

Reviews
94 / Vinous
The 2017 Pinot Noir Lewis MacGregor Estate Vineyard is decidedly boisterous, with a huge core of ripe fruit and equally imposing tannins. This is an especially muscular style of Russian River Pinot. All the elements meld together effortlessly in this powerful, resonant Pinot. Readers will have to be patient, though, as the 2017 needs time. Hard candy, blood orange, spice and star anise add an exotic flavor to this potent Pinot. A.G.
