He worked in sales for 4 years at Imagery Estate Winery where at a staff tasting, he tried imported wines side-by-side to the Imagery wines of the same varietal and became interested in learning more. He went on to work for The Rare Wine Company for the next 4 years and was able to taste wine from the most famous producers and learn about the Old World style of winemaking.
Inspired to take his hand at winemaking, he traveled to New Zealand for a harvest at Kim Crawford. Upon his return in 2014, he began working full-time in the cellar at Benziger Family Winery and then moved to Kunde Family Winery in 2017.
Nick lives in Glen Ellen with his very smart girlfriend Sari, and his energetic dog Luna. In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, cooking delicious meals and pairing them with beautiful wine. He also loves to spend time at his family cabin in Lake County, hiking in the redwoods, and enjoying long days at the coast. He is very grateful to work with the fruit at Williams Selyem and he loves being a part of this great winemaking team
