You could say that for Jessica, the wine industry has always been at arm’s length. She grew up in Lodi, a mecca for fans of old vine Zinfandel. After graduating from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a college renowned for its agricultural programs, Jessica spent a few years living in different parts of the world before settling down in the North Bay in 2008. After four years with HALL Wines in St. Helena, she joined us here at Williams Selyem.
When Jessica isn’t enjoying her backyard barbecuing with friends, you’ll find her hanging out with her two mates, Reggie and Monster, one dog inherited from her mom and the other a rescue. She also enjoys travelling the globe and trying to learn new languages.
Besides Sonoma County, Jessica counts the Barossa Valley as one of her favorite wine regions; an appreciation that came from working a harvest there..
One of Jessica’s most memorable years was 2003, the year she graduated from Cal Poly. Sonoma County Pinot from that year has been described as, “candied” with hints of “cherry cola” and a focus on “terroir and elegance”.
