Winemaker's Notes
Bright Maraschino cherry, strawberry, violet and root beer aromas. Intense cherry and wild raspberry flavors end up round and fat in the mouth. The wild berry flavors are complemented by the rose water and mocha explosion in your mouth and the creamy textured tannins that finish long and juicy across your palate.

Awards and Reviews
2004 Allen Vineyard Pinot Noir Good red-ruby. High-pitched aromas of black raspberry, violet and minerals. Juicy, firm and penetrating, with terrific intensity and strong framing acidity. The flavors of black raspberry, strawberry and rose petal dominate the wine's lower tones of cola and root beer. A complete pinot that can be enjoyed soon or laid down for five or six years. The Wine Advocate, January 2006 - 91-93 Points

| Vineyard Notes: | The Allen Pinot Noir Vineyard surrounds our winemaking facility. This Russian River Valley hillside vineyard was planted in the early 1970s, and produces low yields of exceptional quality Pinot Noir. Fog-cooled evenings and moderately warm daytime temperatures make the Russian River region ideal for growing Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. |
| Vintage Notes: | For this wine, Bob selected hand-made French oak barrels, with medium-plus toast. The wine was aged for 16 months in Francois Freres oak barrels, 58% new oak, 42% one-year-old.
14.1% Alcohol, 0.61g/100ml TA, 3.48 pH
