Fall 2008 Release – Frequently Asked Questions
When will I receive my allocation?
The Fall 2008 newsletter and order forms will be mailed to current mailing list customers on August 18.
How do I get my User ID and Password?
We will send an email with your login information to your on-file email address on August 18 - 19. Your User ID and Password are also printed on your order form that will be mailed August 18. If you have not received your login information by August 21, please email contact@williamsselyem.com or call 707-433-6425 to request it. You may access your allocation and place an order at www.williams-selyem.com/shopping.
I received an allocation of “0” for some wines. Why?
All of our wines are produced in very small quantities. The smallest-production wines are allocated to members who have been on The WS List for the longest period of time and have established purchasing patterns. You may request these wines in the “Additional Bottles” column, and we will fill requests with any wine remaining at the close of the release (September 12).
Can you ship to my state?
We are currently licensed to ship to the following states: AK, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, LA, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NM, NY, NV, OH, OR, SC, TX, VA, VT, WA, WI, WY

Do I have to order on-line?
While on-line ordering is strongly encouraged, we will continue to accept orders via FAX (707-431-4862) or mail: 6575 Westside Road, Healdsburg CA 95448 through September 12. Order confirmations are sent via email exclusively, so please be sure to provide a valid email address.
Can I send my request via email or phone?
We cannot accept requests via phone or email. We will accept .pdf scans of your order (with signature) sent via email to contact@williamsselyem.com, provided the file prints legibly.
How will I know if you received my order?
On-line orders will receive immediate confirmation via email. Faxed or mailed orders will receive confirmation via email within three business days from the time your order is processed. Please provide a current email address on your order form.
We experience an extremely high volume of phone calls and fax orders during the release, so please do not call to see if your fax came through. We recommend that you obtain a verification report from your own fax machine.
Did I get everything that I ordered/requested?
We cannot verify your total order until after the close of the release on September 12. Orders are filled on a first-come, first-served basis, and many wines sell out quickly. If you have requested additional bottles of wines that have NOT sold out by the end of the release, we will add those to your original order and post a second charge to your credit card for the balance.
I’m paying by check. Should I include additional requests in the total?
No. Your check should cover Bottles Ordered only. If we are able to fill additional requests, we will hold the wine and contact you for payment.
I’m paying by check. Can I still place my order on line?
Yes! Go to www.williams-selyem.com/shopping and select the “printable invoice” option when you log in with your UserID and Password.
A note about check payment:
Your check will be cashed at the time it is received. If we have sold out of wines that you have included in your payment, we will issue a credit balance to your account. It is our policy to issue refund checks for credit balances greater than $5. Refund checks will be mailed the week of September 29. Balances under $5 will appear as a credit on your Spring 2009 order form.
When will I receive my wine?
Orders from the Fall 2008 release are scheduled to be shipped the week of October 13. Pick-up Weekend is October 25 - 26 in California, and November 7 - 9 at Millbrook Winery in New York. Weekday pick-ups in CA begin October 28 by appointment: 10am to 3pm, Monday through Friday only, with at least one business day advance notice (thank you!). NY pick-ups are available daily from November 7 through December 31, 12pm to 5pm, no appointment necessary. If you have a conflict with the scheduled shipping or pick-up dates, please contact us to make alternative arrangements.
