Our Estate Mistral Vineyard in southern Santa Clara County include a small block planted to classic Port varietals (Tinta Madiera, Tinto Cao and Touriga Nacional). While small in production, our Port is an intense, turbocharged dessert wine fortified with special port-style spirits.
Every other year we produce a limited amount of Late Harvest Gewurztraminer from our Vista Verde Vineyard in San Benito County. In the year 2000, we produced a Late Harvest Muscat from the Mistral Vineyard in the Russian River Valley. These grapes have since been pulled out, but its legacy lives on in its singular bottling from our winery. These wines display enchanting aromas of Sun Crest peaches, lychee, rose water and spices. Predominant flavors of peaches and nectarine pie are accentuated by the mouth-watering acidity. They are great complements to fruit desserts.
